Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, without a central bank or single administrator, that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries. Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain.

In order to sell Bitcoins on c-Exchange, you'll first need to send some Bitcoins to your c-Exchange Wallet. To find your c-Exchange receiving address, simply visit the Wallet page and click the 'Generate new address' button. At the top of the page, you'll find your unique receiving address. Please note that you can still use the old address, but it will eventually expire after 12 months. Once you have your c-Exchange receiving address, you can easily transfer Bitcoins from your other wallet to your c-Exchange address. It's important to note that the minimum amount you can send to your c-Exchange wallet is the deposit fee. Any Bitcoin deposits smaller than that will not be processed and cannot be recovered, as they are used to pay the fee. So, make sure to double-check the amount you're sending before you hit 'Send'!

You can store your Bitcoins in the c-Exchange Wallet, but we highly recommend using other Bitcoin wallets for maximum security. The best way to ensure complete control over your Bitcoins is to store them in a wallet on your computer or mobile device. Our top choice for a standalone Bitcoin wallet is BlockChain, which offers unparalleled security. If you're looking for an even more secure way to store your Bitcoin, paper wallets are an excellent option. Additionally, wallets on your smartphone can be a convenient way to carry your Bitcoins with you wherever you go, allowing you to make transactions on the go.

The sellers typically release Bitcoins as soon as they detect your payment, which can take up to a couple of hours. If you have paid but are still waiting, there is no need to worry as all online trades are safeguarded by escrow, meaning the seller cannot abscond with your Bitcoin. If there are any issues with a trade and the seller refuses to release your Bitcoins, you can initiate a dispute to have c-Exchange support resolve it. If you are buying or selling Bitcoins online, you can start a dispute after 1 hour if you have marked the payment as completed. It is not possible to start a dispute if the Bitcoins have already been released from escrow. When a trade you are involved in becomes disputed, you will receive an SMS notification and an email. In most cases, simply initiating the dispute is enough to get the attention of your trading partner, and the issue is usually resolved within 24-48 hours.

The delay in receiving your Bitcoin can be attributed to a variety of factors, but is primarily due to unconfirmed transactions on the blockchain. Your c-Exchange wallet will be credited with Bitcoin as soon as one confirmation is received on the blockchain network.

Bitcoin transactions are immutable, meaning that once you've sent funds to another Bitcoin address, it is impossible for you or c-Exchange to reverse it. To get your Bitcoin back, you can try to locate the owner of the address and request that they return the funds to you. To do this, you can attempt to Google the address to see if it is associated with any Bitcoin services that have contact information, or you can use a service such as Wallet Explorer to see if the wallet is tagged as belonging to a Bitcoin company. It is important to note that the same wallet can have multiple incoming addresses. The Bitcoin protocol ensures that Bitcoins are not sent to an address that does not exist, but they can be sent to addresses which are inactive or not controlled by anyone.

If you have forgotten your username, email address, and password associated with your C-Exchange account, don't worry! Simply visit our contact request page and fill out the form, and our team will be more than happy to help you regain access to your account.

Yes, all online trades from us are safeguarded by an escrow service. When a trade is initiated, the amount of Bitcoin for the trade is automatically reserved from the seller's c-Exchange Wallet. This means that if the seller fails to deliver the funds and does not release your Bitcoin, you can open a dispute from the trade and provide your proof of payment. Our c-Exchange support team can then release the Bitcoin to you from escrow. To ensure your funds are secure, never release the escrow until you are certain that you have received the money from the buyer.

Step 1: Search for P2P offers or Admin Buy/Sell and select the option to BUY. Step 2: Enter the amount of Bitcoin you wish to purchase, provide a message for the seller, and click the Send Trade Request button to initiate the trade. When purchasing Bitcoins, it is important to complete the payment within the allotted time window before the trade is automatically canceled. To do this, you must press the 'I have paid' button to notify the seller that you have made the payment. The Bitcoins will then be held in escrow until the seller releases them to you upon seeing the payment in their account. If you paid for the purchase but were unable to complete the payment within the time window, you should contact the seller through the trade. The seller has the ability to reopen the purchase, which will also re-enable escrow. You can contact the seller and other existing trade contacts from the Dashboard in your c-Exchange Running trades. Send a message to the seller and explain the situation and why you were unable to complete payment within the time window. First, wait for at least five minutes and then check that the email address in your user profile is correctly typed. Additionally, take a look in your spam folder, as the emails you're looking for may be there. It's also possible that your email provider may be blocking emails from a certain domain, so you may want to try changing your email address to see if that helps.
